
AAA Insurance
It’s a traumatizing experience being stranded in the middle of the 5 after your tire decides to explode on a crisp Tuesday morning. The traffic surrounding you ensues, but your entire world is put on pause. In this moment, you’re all alone. For peace of mind, join the club.
Goal: The campaign positioned AAA as a necessary and helpful service for young people. AAA will be there to help regardless of the weather or situation, and it is a worthwhile investment for peace of mind on the road.
Strategy: To increase the brand’s relevance to the target audience, our team took a modern approach, blending illustrations and images. For this, I illustrated eye-catching typography in various themed shapes.
BritBox
As Brits, we crave being perceived as holier than thou. You Americans can learn a lot from us. Let our culture take control of your living room, wherever you may be. We want to conquer the world– through television.
Goal: This campaign positions BritBox as a one-stop shop for all your British entertainment needs. Aimed at Americans, the campaign pokes fun at colonialism and the history between the two countries.
Strategy: To add some spice to the campaign, our team translated all messaging into phonetic spelling with a British accent. I kept the design simple to allow the words to shine, with a related image muted in the background.
Party City
Sometimes, it’s better to stand out. Don’t be the one sitting on the sideline– embrace the fun. From decorations to costumes and party supplies that bring out your boldest self, Party City has everything you need to turn any occasion into a celebration.
Goal: The campaign positioned Party City as the destination to shop for unforgettable celebrations. It encouraged people to embrace their individuality and step out of the box to have fun.
Strategy: The concept focused on standing out, so I wrote catchy slogans to pair with images of people expressing their individuality in situations they usually wouldn’t. I wanted the photos to stand out and selected a simple sans-serif yet fun typeface.
Carhartt Campaign Book
Carhartt campaign aimed toward Hispanic agricultural workers in the Pacific Northwest. Completed as a group project; my focus was Art Direction & Design.
